EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS   Entitled "More Secrets to Student Writing Success," these NEW seminars illustrate unique, fun and effective strategies to teach writing in an entertaining and painless package. New units include narrative, persuasive and informational writing. 5-hour in-school workshops are often presented on teacher workdays or when subs can be utilized. A workshop of two 3-hour parts is also available. 30 person max. Cost: $3700 or $4400. In addition, several off-site workshops are held each year. Cost: $195 per participant.

5th GRADE GEORGIA WRITING ASSESSMENT SERIES   September through the end of February, prior to the GA Writing Assessment. Four 80-minute sessions per 5th grade homeroom. Cost: $1400 for each 5th grade homeroom for the four-session series.

3rd GRADE GEORGIA WRITING ASSESSMENT SERIES   September through the end of February, leading up to their GA State Writing Evaluation in March. Three or four 80-minute sessions per 3rd grade homeroom (dependent upon which writing genres are covered). Cost: $1050-$1400 for each 3rd grade homeroom for the three or four-session series.

2nd & 4th GRADE WRITING SECRETS SERIES   March through May. Tips, tricks, secrets and shortcuts to commanding student writing. Three 80-minute narrative, informational or persuasive writing sessions per 2nd and/or 4th grade homeroom. Cost: $1050 for each homeroom for the three-session series.

PARENT WORKSHOPS   During this 50-minute evening workshop, parents learn how they can complement and extend their child’s writing education. Cost: $600

AMAZING ORIGAMI WORKSHOPS   This 75-minute classroom session of Japanese Paperfolding participation features gifts for the entire family, for 3rd through 5th grade students. Origami sharpens coordination, improves the following of directions and diagram skills, encourages creativity, heightens understanding of math concepts, teaches problem-solving, and fosters social interaction and self-esteem. These workshops work well prior to holidays or during the last few weeks of school. Cost: $850.
