The NO-RISK Writer's Workshop

The sequel to SECRETS to STUDENT WRITING SUCCESS and COMMON CORE WRITING SUCCESS, this workshop will feature more interaction and writing, as many educators have requested. The focus will be on utilizing Writing to Command Attention! narrative, persuasive and informational methods within the writer's workshop classroom format, which will be detailed and practiced. Additional segments include assessment, mini-conferencing, effective oral critiquing of student-read papers and plagiarism, among other topics not covered in the SECRETS workshop due to time constraints.

It is strongly recommended that registrants to THE NO-RISK WRITER'S WORKSHOP have previously attended a SECRETS TO STUDENT WRITING SUCCESS workshop. A thorough understanding of Writing to Command Attention! methods will be necessary for effective implementation of new strategies introduced.
